Mr. Ali Mahir (8Q7AM), is one of the most active and long serving Amateur Radio Operator in the Maldives. In the 90s he has worked as a Radio Officer for Male’ Coastal Radio Station.

Received Maldivian Amateur Radio License in 1994 – and have been active since then.

Mr. Ibrahim Rasheed (8Q7PR) started as a Radio Operator Trainee at a Merchant Ship which travels in between Male’ and Colombo. Received local license as Wireless Operator in 1966 and General Certificate License in 1979 from Postmaster General – Colombo.

Received Maldivian Amateur Radio License in November 2018.
